about Membership
Membership is open to any person, over 18 years of age and members will receive the quarterly Journal, have access to the Group's archives and photograph collection, and will be able to meet and correspond with fellow members sharing a common interest, in a friendly and co-operative manner.
Membership year
The Group’s membership year runs from 1st November each year to 31st October in the following year. New members joining on or after 1st August each year will have their initial subscription carried forward as valid until 31st October of the following year (i.e. up to a 15 month period of membership before their subscription requires renewal)
Annual subscription rates
Annual subscription rates are ratified each year by the members attending the Annual General Meeting. Current annual subscription rates, fixed at the October 2009 AGM are as follows:
Ordinary membership: £21.00
Concessionary membership: £15.00 (applies to aged 60 or over)
