Our website is dedicated to the largest of the five major railway companies operating in Scotland during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the North British Railway. If you are interested in finding out more about the company and its constituents and successors, you will find information on this site.
Our Study Group was set up in the UK in 1978 by a number of enthusiasts who wished to study and record all aspects of the NBR. We have members throughout Scotland, the UK, and overseas.
